Our unique seals are capable of expansions exceeding 1" with minimal torque. To use, simply install into the open end of the pipe or tube and tighten the compression nut(s) to expand the seal element. Rated back pressures up to 250#.

Grip Type High Pressure

Flangeless High Pressure Pipe Testing

The test plugs are held in place by the steel grips while the Neoprene seals - All by tightening one compression nut!

Provided to Isolate & Test sections of piping without the need for Flanges! The standard Plugs can be used for test pressures up to 3,000 psig, in line sizes from ½" to 26" and Schedules 40 or 80 pipe.   Other sizes and test pressures available.

MP Isolation Plugs

Like the LP Series, the seals are Neoprene and the body is aluminum and are available with Mechanical (Rim Bolts) or Inflatable seals.   Available in line sizes from 4" through 36", with rated back pressure up to 150 psig. And line sizes from 36" through 54" with rated back pressure up to 105 psig. Available with or without upstream venting capabilities.

A SPECIAL WORD OF CAUTION:
Pressure testing can be an extremely hazardous operation and safety precautions should be strictly adhered to. All connections, valves, flanges and other fittings should be checked for suitability to test pressure. Verify the line ID & Plug Range match.
Most importantly – Never stand or pass in front of any test plug or other enclosure while test is in progress. If plug discharges during a test, serious injury or death could occur.

Balloon Plugs

Balloon Plugs are for isolating piping in line sizes from 1.5" through 66". The plugs are available with flow- through vents so upstream pressure can be vented.  Back pressure rating up to 22 psig.  Available with or without upstream venting capabilities.
