The Low-Pressure and Medium-Pressure pipe plugs have received wide acceptance in many industrial applications including nuclear and hydro plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, water treatment plants and water and sewer lines. Medium-Pressure pipe isolation plugs are guaranteed to perform at the pressures common in the water supply industry, water treatment, and industrial markets (up to 105 PSIG depending on pipe diameter).

These medium pressure pipe test plugs offer a cost effective means of conducting tests, or isolating line sections at any interval or stage of construction. This feature is extremely useful where long runs between valves can occur, and where the ability to pull an immediate test after negotiating difficult angles, wall cavities, (elbows), or terrain, can be very reassuring.

Medium pressure pipe test plugs can be the simple solution to many problems where static head, line pressure boosting, or test specificiations present pressure conditions which fall into the test range.

A SPECIAL WORD OF CAUTION: Pressure testing can be an extremely hazardous operation and safety precautions should be strictly adhered to. All connections, valves, flanges and other fittings should be checked for suitability to test pressure. Verify the line ID & Plug Range match. Most importantly - Never stand or pass in front of any test plug or other enclosure while test is in progress. If plug discharges during a test, serious injury or death could occur.
